Missing a payment can feel stressful. We are here to help you understand what happens next and what you can do right away.
Grace Periods
If you miss your scheduled payment, you may have a short grace period before additional charges apply. During this time, you can still make your payment to bring your account up to date.
You will receive a payment reminder by email. If you are waiting for a payment email notification, please check your inbox and junk folder. If you are unsure, you can contact support at support@kizzo.ca.
Late Fees
If your payment is not received within the grace period, a late fee may be added to your account as outlined in your loan agreement. Late fees increase the total amount you owe, so it is best to make your payment as soon as possible.
Impact on Your Credit
Kizzo loans are reported as Fig loans to the credit bureaus.
If a payment remains unpaid past a certain point, it may be reported as missed. This can lower your credit score and may affect your ability to borrow in the future.
Making your payment quickly can help reduce further impact.
Collections Process
If your account becomes significantly past due, it may move into collections. This means:
• You will receive additional outreach by email
• Your account may be handled by a specialized servicing team
• Continued non payment could further affect your credit
In cases of insolvency, accounts are serviced through CFG.
